Who we are
thecloserbond.com (“The Closer Bond”) is run by ENA Enterprises Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company no. 17257845), 61 Bridge Street, Kington, HR5 3DJ, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal data collected on this site. To contact us about your data, write to that address.
What we collect and why
- Email sign-up: your email address, optional first name, the page you signed up on, the time, and the consent wording you agreed to. We use this to send the PDF guide and occasional emails about relationship-communication tips and guides, some with affiliate links. Lawful basis: consent (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), and consent for electronic marketing under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
- Server logs: our host keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Affiliate clicks: when you click an affiliate link you leave our site. ClickBank and the vendor may set cookies and collect data under their own privacy policies. We receive sales reports from ClickBank but no payment card details.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. If we add analytics that need consent, we will ask first and update this policy.
Who processes your data
- Supabase (database hosting for sign-ups, UK region)
- Railway (website hosting)
- An email-sending provider, once we start sending emails (this policy will be updated to name it)
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or UK adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
We keep sign-up data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe, we keep only your email address on a suppression list so we never email you again. Server logs are kept for a limited period by our host.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to processing, and receive a portable copy. You can withdraw consent at any time, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. To use these rights, write to us at the address above. If you’re unhappy, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We’ll post any changes here with a new “last updated” date.
